Hi guys.Does anyone know wich MB sat/nav can be fitted in A-Class merc 02 reg?

hello,

if you want an OEM unit, then the Mercedes Audio-30 APS will work in the A-Class.

I think that you will need a standard DIN-fit version, so look for the

BE4715 or BE4716.

The fitting should be plug and play (withGPS antenna fitted under the dash).

1.Could you please tell me from your personal expirience wich sat/nav is reliable, accurate?
2.Someone told me that i could fit comand-is it true?
You told that you know someone who import them from Germany.Could you please give me info on how could i contact him?

1.) Both the Becker and MB APS SatNav, in my experience, are very good and reliable. It will not, however always choose the same route that you would if you are familiar with the area, but on the whole it works very well and indeed I have installed one in my car.

2.) Yes, maybe you can fit a COMAND unit, but it will be about £2000, compared to about £400 for an MB APS unit. If you do not have steering-wheel radio controls or a Multi-Information display in your dash, then choose one of the Becker Consumer versions, as they have more features and you may get them for less. (The MB APS are Becker clones).
