With statements like
Global warming is indeed a scam, perpetrated by scientists with vested interests, but in need of crash courses in geology, logic and the philosophy of science.
and
So, as we enter the third millennium, we should preoccupy ourselves not with the silly question of whether at outrageous expense we could predictably influence the weather, least of all by focusing on just a single component. Instead, we should consider how to adapt ourselves to the inevitability of natural climate and sea-level change.
I think we can safely say that Dr Martin Keeley's views will be dismissed as those of an heretic by the climate change "believers".

Trouble is, what he says makes much more sense than they do

Simple question for all the climate change doom-mongers:

Why is Mars warming up at the same rate as Earth?

That'll be the Martian Rovers that the Yanks put on there.. Their VED will be going up soon too!!

Climate change is a blessing for all tax gatherers. Climate warms up, blame CO2 and tax it. Climate cools thus proving they were right to tax CO2. Climate get too cold find another cause and tax that.

What I want to know is what happened to this ACID RAIN they were winding us up about 10 years ago ? Did it go away or has it been overtaken by events. There was also the big hole in the Ozone layer which we don`t hear about now, I guess it has healed up.

I agree, the climate change is not made. I'm concerned about energy supply though, and anything that reduces the use of oil is a good thing, and will ultimately reduce the price of it.

I'd really like to stick one on the countries holding us to ransom right now. Sorry pal, don't need that anymore, take a hike.

Not so much reducing the use of it, but changing how we get it? We used to have good relations with the oil producing eastern countries not so long ago...

I am perfectly content with bio fuel production and the brazlians method of ethanol being used as the main fuel for their cars. Food prices may go up, but fuel prices will down a whole lot more.

There was an article in the Telegraph at the weekend about a correspondent on the BBC website who wrote about the apparent fact that the world is actually cooling at the moment. He was harangued by a female 'eco warrior' who eventually persuaded him to alter the article. This came to light because the woman boasted about it online.

Oxfam said the Renewable Transport Fuels Obligation (RTFO). which requires 2.5% of all petrol and diesel sold at UK forecourts to come from renewable biofuels, was contributing to human rights abuses and rising food prices.
The aid agency said the UN Permanent Forum on Indigenous Issues had estimated some 60 million indigenous people faced clearance from their land to make way for biofuel plantations such as palm oil.
Oxfam said it was investigating reports of human rights abuses and land-grabbing in Asia, Africa and South America, and was concerned higher food prices could lead to greater hunger among the world's poor.
Ahead of the obligation's introduction, Oxfam said British drivers were being forced into supporting the unsustainable policy, which environmentalists say is also contributing to deforestation and exacerbating climate change.
But the Government has insisted the gradual introduction of biofuels will cut millions of tonnes of carbon dioxide.
Transport Secretary Ruth Kelly recently announced a review focusing on the "indirect" consequences of biofuel production such as changing the use of land from food to energy crops.
Oxfam policy adviser Robert Bailey said pushing ahead with the RTFO before the evidence of the impact of biofuels was in was like "treating a patient with an untested medicine that could make them even more unwell".
"People in poor countries are being driven off their land to make way for new plantations," he said. "They are working in punishing conditions for pittance. The price of food is spiralling rapidly out of their reach and rainforests are being destroyed."
Oxfam wants the Government to call a halt to the RTFO until a thorough, independent, investigation has been undertaken and compulsory sustainability standards are in place.

These eco warriors will not stand to reason, its a political motive as much as anything that they have.

I think we have a few years yet before it becomes compulsory to buy (or indeed manufacture) only solar-powered cars. In the meantime, the 2 certainties will remain as death and taxes.

The scary thing is; the very same people who will vote AGAIN for the corrupt, lying, rabble in Westminster - are able to sit on JURIES. Worst still - they may be formating with you at 70mph on motorways :(

Oh you poor poor people in the UK.
