I own a 1989 MB 500SE. My ASR light on the dash stays on all the time. I have no access to any technical manuals. I would like to deactivate the ASR since I found out it is very expensive to fix. Where can I find the ASR module on my car?

The light on all the time on the dash means that the ASR is already de-activated.........either because you have it switched off or due to a fault in the system when ASR then defaults to 'off'........if you dont want to fix it then might be an idea to remove the bulb in the dash.
