Assyst In A Class

Hi everybody I'm Carlos im from Mexico, I found this forum searching in the net for help.

I've just bought an A 160 as a birthday present to my girlfriend, and I read about ASSYST system.

When I bought it 5 days ago the assyst state that it will need the next service at 9100 KM something like 5700 miles she have drive for 5 dyas the car and the ASSYST does state the same 5700 miles, Does her assyst system is working well? it is normal? does it have to be 9100, 9099, 9098 etc?? or work for multiples of 100? like 9100, 9000, etc,

I hope you can help me, and also you can understand what I'm trying to explain hoho.

It will count down in 100's. Although depending upon a few variables it may not count down 100KM after driving for 100KM it may only count down 100KM after driving 150-200KM this is perfectly normal.

Also I dont know why this car doesn't have a temp gauge. it marks the outside temp but the really important like oil temp is missing, Does somebody know why?? maybe it is because this type of cars never presents overheating??

I know this is a good car so thats why I want to maintain it in good conditions.
