Hi Guys, I'm new to this forum as i have hit a brick wall, i'm hoping someone can offer advice.
I have a 2004 Atego 1 motorhome, approx 75000 miles so its done more sitting than driving. It started with intermitten starting issues about 6 months ago. It would start on the key some days and take 10 seconds of turning over on other days, could sit for a month and start on the key, drive 100yds and then struggle to start and visa versa.
I had it on a diagnostic machine and said a problem with cylinder 1 & 3. Slackened the injector pipes to see if there was air in the system, not much fuel coming out of any of the electronic pumps. Someone suggested changing the 1st fuel pump so i tried that with no effect.
Fuel filters are clean, plenty of fuel in tank...
I cant help thinking it could be electronic or immobilizer related, there are 2 wires to the 4 electronic pumps, are they supposed to have a voltage when cranking ?? i cant get a reading.
