I've just bought the kit I need to change and flush the trans in my 2014 E class. It has the 722.9 transmission, so here's what the total cost was :
Fluid x 20Ltrs. Fuchs Titan 7134fe. ( This was a special offer €133.0 delivered , Works out at €6.68 per ltr . I got it on Ebay from Germany. Keszler is the name of the supplier, and its genuine Fuchs, so I will have possibly 8 ltrs surplus for a future change.

Meyle Transmission Kit, Filter x 1, Gasket x 1, 10mm pan bolts x 6, Oil Level Green Tube x 1, TC drain stud x 1, Pan drain stud washer x 1. Cost €75.00,
So parts total cost= €208.7
Based on these costs, your €339 seems very reasonable.. for a complete change and TC flush, actually its a bargain !! Seems more like a drain the pan, remove it, replace the filter, refit the pan, replace the drained oil, and thats that. But its not a complete change. So if you are looking for quotes, make sure you find out exactly what you are getting for your money..what kind of change is being done

I had a transmission service on my S203 done at indie: Mercland in 2017. It cost £180. But I don't think that included an ATF change.

That is a massive price , MB could do it cheaper than that . Oil , filter and gasket diy is £70 ish for the 722.6 5g box

£70 ish for complete transmission change kit??? That was some bargain Wighty .. Cost me €75,00 just for the Meyle kit, and 10 Ltrs ATF at the bargain price of €6.50 per litre for my 722.9 = €65.00.Cheapest part was the Labour charge...myself

You’re right Jim , i am slightly out , just checked eBay , I can get an MB filter and gasket for £26 , but I think I got a Mann set in a sale a few months ago for £20 ?
8L of Fuchs on eBay is £60 , so we will call it £80 without looking too hard for deals .
When I did my 722.9 recently I had shopped around and even with a cheap pump and adapter I was only just over £100 .

I just checked the invoice- it includes £46.80 for oil, £22.68 for Gasket and Oil Filter then £110.88 for labour. I didn’t even bother checking what MB would charge because I know Mercland would have been cheaper and do a good job.

No worries buddy , it was more to illustrate that £300+ for the 5g gearbox service (without extra work needed ) is high

Ah, OK. I was budgeting 12 ltrs to allow for flushing out the TC, Rad and pipes, as this is what it took to do in the 722.6 trans. But as there is a drain plug in the 722.9, it will not take as much to flush just the rad and pipes......say 10 Ltrs @ €6.50 / Ltr = €65.00 Plus the Mayle Kit @ €75.00. Total €140.00, so not so bad after all, but still not as good a bargain as you got.

As above "Oil" = ATF but I think it's a top up, not a refill.

Also for any cost comparison bear in mind that mine was done in 2017 so AMF at £260 + VAT ain't bad at all.

Yes complete flush.

722.9 is different depending on if its stop start etc but usually £290 ish + VAT
