I think you have the 5 speed, electronic gearbox in which case you must use only the MB ATF fluid, nothing else is recommended. It will hold between 7-7.5 litres if you drain the gearbox, torque converter and remove the sump and replace the filter.

There is no dipstick, the 'measuring stick' is a MB workshop tool only, some dealers will sell it, some will deny it exists.
