Audio 10 cd radoi

I have a audio 10 cd radio taken out of a 1998 e class and have fitted it in my 2000 model e class with steering wheel controls but this radio does not work with them. Does anybody know if this set can be updated or is it buy a later cd radio. Regards Col17.

No. It can't be updated. There are two models I think the MF2199 and the MF2910

The later one will work
