Audio 10 - Upgrade?

Hi I have my CLK 230K with a Audio10 & CD Changer, can anyone give me advice on what unit I can upgrade to.

I would still want to continue to use the steering controls and the cd changer.

One of the reasons is that there is a fault on the unit as it displays SERVICE instead of CD or Radio Channel, apart from that it works on purely guess work.

If you want to stay with a Audio 10 CD and doesn't play CD's in your radio head. I have a Audio 10 CD laying around. Working fine but skips CD's. It's from a 2003 W203 / C-Class.

Good point. Well some times I get the feeling that if you don't have an AMG / BRABUS / COMAND / big tires / 4 exhausts your not the man...

Well on mine there is two tone leather, heated and part electric seats, trip tronic auto, parking sensors front and rear, 18" AMG IV's, blue roof with wind buffer, CL style grill and flat bonnet badge.

Oh and I forgot I have converted to LPG so get 265 miles on a £22 fill up.

Tell me I need a command!!!:-?

though I am still using a 2001 disc, (saving for a newer one) I find it very good.
easy to use, I will say no more.

It has a far better head unit than audio 10 providing a much richer and louder sound. It will control your CD changer if you have one, remembering your Cd names if desired. It will control your factory telephone showing address book and allowing you to dial from it and send SMS text messages. It will allow TV reception with the addition of a TV tuner. ditto DVD playback. It has full satellite navigation with TMC but possibly best of all, it adds to the value and saleability of your car tremendously.

Are you sure that you have an audio 10 in a 2005 car? april 2004 saw the facelift which meant a change to using the audio 20 MOST based system.
