I have a C180K on an 03 plate and it has a single AUDIO 10 cassette player in it. I bought a Double DIN AUDIO 20 head unit CD player and after stripping all the console out to fit it, I found it was all wrong!

On the back of the double DIN unit it has no aerial input only two smaller inputs, and all the other wiring seems incompatible.

Do I resell the Head unit or can I get an adaptor to make this unit work in my car?

If it is not compatible, are there any AUDIO 20 style units that will fit my car?

I'm not an expert but I believe (as you've discovered) all the electronics are different. Not just the connections but the network technology itself (switched from MOST to CANBUS or something). Hence, whilst I stand to be corrected, I doubt it's possible to get it working so I'd flog it on. If you want a double din, go for an appropriate year command unit (and get satnav into the bargain).

They will be able to tell you for definite what is and isn't possible.
