audio 30 aerial help

HI all.

i have just retrofitted audio 30 aps in my 2001 clk convertible - if you need any advice re this feel free to ask.

the problem i have its not finding any satalites? the aerial is currently on the boot so can get a good signal i assume - my car is fitted with a factory phone so would maybe do i have the wrong aerial?? or could the aerial be faulty maybe????

any advice would be ace

You do need an satellite aerial with a WICLIC connector for the APS 30.

Dumb question: did you plug in your aerial properly? Unplug and and plug it in again, twist it slightly right left, so it gets a proper contact.

Depending on the model of the APS30 it might take up to half an hour to get a signal the first time!

just tried the current aerial and still 0 satalites might try another gps aerial

i am having a nightmare getting a new aerial apparently it needs to be wiclic connection - anyone know where i can get one from in the uk??

Hi, I hope you didn't screw up the connector, while trying to fit the wrong arial!

Ebay is a good bet to get one!

the connection is fine - am just having no luck getting a gps aerial that fits?? i know its wiclic but no place seems to sell em???

come one someone muct have help on the audio 30???

still cant get a gps antena, had 2 of e bay that had wrong connection, i have one that fits all ok but show 0 satellites, do i need to do something else to set it up??

have connected the speedo pulse and that shows as working in the aps diagnostics bit, had the aps programmed to my car by merc - everything seems to work but wont find satelllites??
