auto box behaviour - problem with tiptronic gearbox

Hi

I have a 2000 c200 est. with tiptronic box.
Whenever i kick down to go up a hill the box always takes about 8-10 secs to change up after i remove my foot from the accelerator.

Is this to be expected?
