Auto gear knob removal

Sad I know, but how does the know come off - is it a screw on??? I'ce had a quick play but didn't fancy breaking it.

I've got a momo one that I've had for years and fancy putting it on.

Lift the cover, find the bottom of the knob, twist it 45 anti clock, lift it off!!!

Keep your chin out of the way when you pull it up
