Auto transmission is slow going into first gear after braking

Ok ... last question...
Other than the oil pan gasket, are there any other seals that should be replaced? I read that the "front pump seal" is the most likely cause of my leak ... any idea if this is a simple one to replace (suspect it will be a PITA).

Sorry Col, would not have any experience with that, But see what Lost Kiwi has to say about the correct transmission fluid for your box. I'm pretty sure that they will have Dexron where you are? Its a worldwide brand.

Importantly it's only Dexron IID or Dexron III.

I put 120 ml into the trans and the level is at the top of the dipstick and gear changes were good today (but really needs a longer test drive.)

Looks like you are going in the right direction so Col..Check Lost Kiwi's post above about which fluid to use. Only DEXRON 11D or DEXRON 111. And only top up by very small amount's each time. Good Luck !!!
