Hi!

My 2000 MB C200T Esprit's autoadjusting headlights has stopped to adjust. Now they are are constant in the lowest position. When I turn on the headlighst, then the ignition I can hear sounds and see and feel vibration from the headlamps, but they do not adjust to position as normal.
Any ideas, anyone?

Thanks in advance!

Probably a vacuum leak. Check the purple pipes around the headlights first, they are common to breaking off.

If it's a 202 then they are not electric. The leveling system is controlled by vacuum from the inlet manifold. You need to find the purple pipes running down the inner wing (driver's side I think) & trace them to each headlight.
