Can anyone describe how to remove the autobox E/S switch from my 200E (as under), as I suspect it is faulty? I had a quick look when replacing the bulb in the selector panel recently but it wasn't too obvious to me. It is fitted alongside lower left of the gearchage gate.
Be much appreciated, thanks.

The switch drives a relay up near the battery. It connects another vacuum pipe to the gearbox.

I once found that the pipe that ran underneath the battery was badly split so evenif the switch and the relay worked, it would make no difference.
