AutoDetox, Lichfield - A hearty recommendation

When I get a superb job done, beyond expectations and at a decent price I think it's only right to let other drivers know.

We took our CLS to this outfit for a bit of TLC, mainly to have some overspray removed after a panel repair (that's a different story, but anyway). I don't live too far from Lichfield so I'd popped down a while ago to chat to the owner, Barry, and after talking to him I was sure he was the man for the job.

We picked the car back up yesterday and the result is absolutely stunning. The bloke worked his polishers off to do the job in the agreed time and the paintwork has been completely restored beyond compare. I hadn't realised how dull the paintwork had become (it's Obsidian Black), the colour now has real depth and the metallic finish has been completely transformed!

At the risk of sounding like an advert, for all you MB owners needing that paintwork restoring and want value for money you'll struggle to find a better place.

wow the results are fab and at £25/hr, he is very resonable.

I am not sure if its possible but my car was repaired by the ex owners and the sprayer didnt cover all the rubber/vinyls hence i have some with paint marks.

Can they be removed by someone professional? Any recommendations in West london Area?

I can personally vouch for the results - I'm sure your paint marks can be removed by guys like these, there seems to be a product/technique for all occasions. My overspray was particularly bad on close inspection, considering it was the area around the rear number plate that was painted the overspray had extended to the rear window and as far as the roof, but he got all of it off. Paintwork feels like glass.

i do everything in the auto trade. i'm an auto engineer to title it correctly.
