Has anybody used this Indy in Loddon, Norfolk?

If so, how did you find the experience?

Mark has said I can make a visit when I want to have a look round, but I just thought I'd ask if anyone has used them.

100% in moving away from main dealer shock! That'll be tomorrow's headline in the EDP. :) And there, good people of the MB owners forum, you have conclusive proof of the credit crunch. :D

What happened?

I can't comment on your choice of indie, sorry. I've only used one (different one) once and 60 miles after they changed my ATF I needed a gearbox rebuild. No names as it might have been coincidence, or perhaps it was to do with the guy driving up and down the road and then adding another litre of fluid? I'll never know but I do my own maintenance now.

Go and have a look at the place, I'm sure you'll get a feel for it.

I think that Helen should do her own service

I suspect Helen would find herself with a major success on her hands here. After all, as Malcolm has said elsewhere (http://forums.mercedesclub.org.uk/showpost.php?p=359250&postcount=7 ) it is the stripping down that can get a bit mucky ...............

Yes the stripping down is the fun bit, just take your time, one piece at a time, some folk clean up as they go,others do it later, in any case once stripped your problems can then be seen, of in some cases felt

Yes, I tend to soak the nuts in paraffin - seems to give a snugger fit. ;)

If I thought that I was in the least bit able, then I would probably give it a try. I like messing about with things, after all I used to work on navigation, compass and weapon aiming systems in the RAF.

Wow, Both TV and Alex ARE in trouble now = no amount of paraffin, oily rags or other tools will get them out of this one:shock::lol::lol:

Scary but it does explain a lot......

I'm sure I read somewhere on here that you managed to get the engine cover off so you're halfway there. The rest is easy....

Well, I've solved the dilemma of Autotechnic - I'm taking it to Cole when the service is due. That was easy wasn't it?

And you will be very pleased with the end result
