The Aux in socket is on all of the cars to my knowledge, often fitted in the side of the glove box.

As your command has DVD option are you using sound only or video as well.

what ever you want to play will need to have a lead with the correct plug attached.

I put the comand in my self wasnt from the factory, i just had a look at the side of my golve box and no joy

There is a input for both TV and aux on the command itself,you will have to make an extension to somwhere near the Dash or glove box.

This all depends on what car your comand is installed in!

A/B/C class 2005 comands do not have video/DVD/TV playback capability.

CLK does if the TV tuner is installed.

Aux input on the A/B/C/CLK class can be achived with a factory IPOD adapter. Again, costs and feasibility depend on the car.

2005 clk, came with prewired phone but no comand just an audio 20, installed the comand my self but just want a simple aux in for my ipod, dont want to pay extra for the kit

was told the aux in comes as standard on all 2005 clk and is located in the glove box, had a look and it not there, i know i can get it off the back of the comand just need to know what pin and where to get the cable

Then the best bet of all is to use the factory IPOD kit. It works very well in the car, is easy to fit and works with your steering wheel controls.

As far as I know very few cars come with the AUX input already installed. It is a factory option which can be dealer fitted later. I've worked on dozens and dozens of C's, CLK's etc and have never come across one with the AUX input pre-installed. IPOD yes, Aux - no.
