i'm planning on fitting a AUX input myself. i've seen some where the loom is approx £16.00.
I have the Audio 20 unit in my CLK and believe the loom simply plugs in the back BUT my problem is getting the Head Unit out.It looks like i need to remove the panelling either side but dont know how (apart from turning green and ripping 'em off)
Anyone Know.
MB have a doc AR82.60-P-7502PA showing how. Anyone know where to get a copy?
P.S.Cant believe this isn't fitted as standard.
P.P.S dont tell me to go to a MB Service workshop as i'm too tight.

In the first place find you car here and it will show how the unit is held in. If you still cant work it out, come back with the first 6 numbers of your VIN

Malcolm,
Thanks for the reply, i believe the unit is held in by screws hidden underneath the paneling to each side.
As the car is a 56 the paneling is neat and snug.
My car is a CLK200 Compressor WDB209

Further to the saga,
from trawling through the many head units available on Ebay, it looks as though the fixing screws are above and below, not either side.
The wood effect surrounds need removing.
