Hi . I have an 2006 Aventguarde. The radio is not Bluetooth and it has a connection in the cetre console. Can anyone tell me how to make it Bluetooth

Hello and welcome,

Avantgarde is a trim level - what “Class” is it ? (C, E?)

In 2006 Bluetooth adapters were only for phone calls so if you’re wanting to stream music you will need a different device. If you have a iPod interface connection in the glovebox (many had them fitted as an option) you can get an aftermarket Bluetooth device that will allow music streaming

Something like the below - assuming you have the iPod interface socket

New head unit will be the easiest option here, the old units didn’t support Bluetooth but you can get a viseoomb dongle that attaches into the armrest port that does calls.

As I've posted a few times before following similar new threads, I'd suggest emailing your VIN and wish list to sales@comand.co.uk (sponsors of this forum and know more about MB ICE than most/all main dealers!). They can then look up the build sheet for your car and thus tell you what is/is not possible with your car, and if you're close enough to J3 M3 they can supply and fit what's needed!!
