B class 2015 Air conditioning water under car - lots of water

Hi,

I noticed the other day that my wifes B class had a large amount of water under the car, when i looked under it was dripping quickly from where the engine ends under the last third of the car. We had been out in the car for around 2 hours with air con on full as it was a hot day, which i know can drip water but the amount was so much and was wondering if this was normal?

Any help would be great

Probably just normal. Aircon had to work hard last week. If you're concerned why not feel, smell some of this water. If indeed it is from the aircon it'll be just that, i e water.

When the car is cold check the coolant level, also check that the screen wash isn’t leaking.
It’s probably the condensate though.

Dare I say to taste what's on the floor? Coolant will be sweet ... screen was will be soapy.

drove mine 1 mile parked on the ramp for its MOT and it dumped a large cupfull on the workshop floor before I got it up in the air
