B class dashboard glare

Has anyone noticed or is troubled by the glare/reflection that comes from the indented/cupped metallic section of the dashboard on the passenger side? It's not terrible, but when driving the moving reflection in the corner of my eye can be distracting. Is there some sort of anti-glare spray or other solution that might work? Or even a wooden veneer that could cover it maybe?!

We’ve had a B for about 7 years. That has never been a problem.

Possibly get it wrapped with some matt clear film or even a colour
