Hi all,

I posted about this a couple of months back regarding a rattling noise coming from the drivers side of the engine block.

I have since noticed this noise only occurs when idle and when the heating is turned on... (the noise does not seam to happen when turned to the cold position)

I have changed the following

Alternator/Tensioner pully bracket
Alternator (Brand New)
Auxiliary Belt (Brand New)
Battery (Brand New)

and still this issue continues and I cant for the life of me figure out what would cause it...

Has anyone else had this kind of problem?

Other then the above the car runs and drive perfect with no issues.

Thanks

Anthony

Is the noise present with AC on or off?

Hi,

Both... when the AC button is turned on or off as soon as I put the heat on full and blower on full the noise starts. But when I put the control to cold and heater on full it does not make the sound.. its very strange and frustrating...

I might look at changing the Air Con pump (Just incase) as I have already changed all other surrounding parts.

Other then this issue the car is really nice.
