Hi,
Would be interested to hear some feedback on the B Class ? Anyone got one?if so whats the verdict. Are there any faults worth knowing about?
Thanks
As far as design goes the B Class is of a similar principal to the A Class and is aimed at average families with parents being 30 something! Quite versatile in design (my own opinion) and slightly larget than the A. I dont think they sold as well as MB had hoped and they border on the price range close to the C class. I guess its down to the individual. Nice car fitted with proven engines and slightly larger than A.

I drove the B Class a couple of years ago with a view to buying one. I was favorably impressed generally and particularly by the compact dimensions and versatile seating/luggage arrangements.
At that point there were very few on the used market and they were expensive. To order new was a wait of 6 weeks or so, and I bought a brand new (10 miles) C 220 CDI same day from the dealer for less money than a new B Class. It has been great, but it just goes to show that you should stay flexible when shopping!
I've driven a few of them as courtesy cars while my own has been in the workshop.
Without doubt, the smaller petrol engine models would not pull you out of bed & I hated any of them with a manual gearbox.
