B Service £180

Just had a B Service done by my indie cost £180.00 for C250TD. Oil change,fuel filter change,air filter, new whiper blade and a glow plug replaced. The glow plug was replaced week prior to service and I think he threw this in.
Last A service was £65

Seems unusually cheap.

Doesn't sound as though it includes the price for the best synthetic oils which you get when serviced at a Merc dealer -unless request otherwise.

And of course it does not include the free breakdown service and 30 year rust guarantee that comes with FullMBSH. Out of interest it costs £150 for a couple for full cover with the AA and another £100 if you want euro cover for holidays etc. All included in the Merc service.

Oil used on this B service was Shell Helix viscosity 7698

Oil on previous A service was Castrol 10W 40 viscosity 5892

Prior to that for last service, again B was Castrol Magnatec viscosity 4249

How does tis oil seem, any good?
