Hi guys,
Just had a B service done on my 2001 CLK 200 Kompressor. There are a few bits and pieces that need to be replaced but nothing major. Front discs and pads aren't a problem to replace, however, they said the rear coil springs are coroded, and that there is corosion to all fuel and brake pipes. Could the corosion to the fuel pipes cause an increase in fuel consumption? The exhaust is also coroded but i don't think i'll replace it just yet. Also, the 'diff seals' are leaking, anyone know what these are, what they do and whether it's dangerous to have them in that state?
Any help would be very much appreciated as i didn't have time to ask the garage all these questions .
Thanks,
LS.
