the pipe to the rear washer has come of filling the unit with water, knoking the electric switch out!!!

Yes the rear washer pipe was off. Will I need a new switch?

you will have to disconnect the plugs, inside will be green, you might be lucky to get some switch cleaner in there, is it not still under warranty????
