Hello All,
Just a quick (re)introduction from me, having been a forum member many years ago. I've recently bought a new daily driver - a W203 C-Class 270cdi - which is my first Benz since a much loved and lamented w123 230CE. I've hopefully managed to add a pic. This was no reflection on my love for MB by the way... it's just there are so many cars I like and so little time to try them all!
First impressions are good. There are a few bits to address as I go but the main thing (for me) is that the car is rust free, which has always been a bit of an issue when I've looked at w203 wagons before. I'm the third owner from new and she's on 136k... not bad for a diesel pushing 20 years old.
All I've done so far is change the wheels for a set of 17" staggered 'Alshains', which look very nice indeed and were too cheap to miss from a seller just down the road, and bought 6 litres of Mobil 1 and a filter for an oil change this weekend. Looking forward to getting to grips with my first ever dipstickless car!! Oh and I got a metal dog guard for £40 from Ebay which me and the Labrador are very pleased about.
I'll try and contribute positive things rather than only posting for help when things go wrong!
Best, Nick.
