Glad to finally be back after nearly a decade of other cars. None of them live up to the Mercs I had, and now I'm the new owner of a 2010 C200 CDI.
I owned two 190's about 8-10 years back, unfortunately had to sell both of them after a spate of bad luck (and being poor) in my 20s I couldn't afford the repairs. Sorely wish I kept the 2.0 190 D . Slow as an ox but I loved it, and it could happily run on olive oil in a pinch. Would buy it back if I could find it. White, 1990, 2.0, sounded like a tractor and 0-60 in half a minute.
Anyway I can't get over how refined my 'new' C200 is, even as the base model with not many toys it'll still leaps ahead of a 2010 Jag I got rid of.
That being said it does feel a little sluggish. I read somewhere that the C200 is the same as the C220 mechanically, so looking at a remap. Does anybody know a good place in or around Gloucestershire?
