Car still Jerky...

lilttle bit about the problem:
Happens more around Roundabouts and very jerky when i deaccelerate.
Also when i deaccelerate from 30 to 20 and then gentaly accelerate back to 30 there is a vibration from under the centre console. slight hesitation is there most of the time.
BUT under full throtle there are no jerks. only when i take it nice and easy...

Soo far been Bosch Center and car had no fault in the engine.

Merc dealer and Gearbox oil level is fine and they also done a glyco test and that was fine but the tech couldnt get the car to jerk.

Merc dealer again today, no faults and the oil level is fine but the tech got the car to jerk. told him the problem. Adiviced me that they need to do further tests on the torque converter but locking it and using the star. they suspect the torque converter

My question is how much are torque converters? any exchange for your old one? what is locking the torque converter?

Sorry that you are having problems :(

The are multiple clutch faces in the converter, if the surface becomes raised then the judder and snatching starts,,not a common fault other than the Glycol.

If you bought the car second hand,,could it be that a glycol fault existed once,,the rad got changed but not the converter.

Gearbox centers are much cheaper than MB and some very good ones around

They are non serviceable as they are of welded construction

It sounds to me that your car has a faulty lock up clutch in the torgue converter.

Can easilly be diagnosed as it can be switched off with the star and road tested, if prob goes then bingo, if it stays them something eles is at fault.

Your car is far to new to have the cycol problem by rights.
