Just need some reasurance here, I attempted to turn on my ac (92-400se) and but no air comes out, either hot or cold, ac control panel is working and a click is heard when I turn the fan dial. Took it to MB service and they said that blower motor is getting power but is not turning on, teay want to replace the blower motor.. I have not used the AC or heater in about four months. Prior to this happening the AC/Heater worked perfect before.. Do Blower motors just go out like this... :?:

They are a wear out item - normally brushes but it appears that a common problem is an iffy connection I will try and hunt a reference for you.

Well turned otu to be a bad blower motor regulator. Removed blower moter and bench tested it, worked fine, then jumped the regulator and motor worked also. Put motor back in car charged up the system with R134 jumped the regulator once again and cold air came thorough the vents in the car. Saved myself about $400.. :p
