Hi guys

I have codes p0016 and p0017 and I have checked the cam
Position behind the sensors at 305 degrees.

Both of the little stamps appear in the window but the passenger side is slightly ahead of the drivers side.
I would say about five degrees read from the crankshaft markings.

I understand that the engine can compensate for a small deviation like this, is this right?

Or am I already outside with of the range of adjustment?

Any advice / knowledge appreciated

I am driving as little as possible and it is heading to a merc Indy next week for diagnosis but I am guessing won’t be fixed until January.

Thanks in advance

Thanks steve that’s really helpful

I got the following live readings from my reader.

I assume the 1.2 degrees and the 0.2 degrees are the right side camshafts adjusting for the balance shaft?
