Banbury Remapping

I have a 2010 C350 cdi with 147,000 on the clock and am considering a remap. Has anyone any experience of Banbury Remapping? They offer a remap taking bhp from 231 to 265 and torque from 540 to 620 Nms. Isn't this the same rating as the later models and is it worth doing considering the age of my car? Do you think I will notice the power increase and is it likely to give me better fuel economy?

Yep 265 bhp and 620Nm
is the same as the latter models, if your engine is in good nick, and they should do a full diagnostic check before the re-map on a rolling road, then should be ok, imo must have a rolling road for before and after dyno readout. You WILL notice the difference, but you won't get better fuel consumption.

I had 231bhp in my C207 for eight years. It would fly when I wanted it to and I never felt the need for more.

I would go to GAD or MSL.

My C350CDi was mapped by GAD and is it VERY quick now

You would soon notice if you lost 30bhp pal so im pretty sure an extra 30bhp will be very noticeable , ive had over 30 cars mapped over the years , its pretty much the first thing i have done but do use a reputable company like mentioned above
