This light could be on for a number of reasons. I would suggest that rather than keep replacing parts, you hook it up to the diagnostic at your independant or main dealer and see what it reads back.

The chances are that this could be a speed signal dropping out, and the sensor ring needs cleaning

If you have depressed the brake pedal without the brake light switch being in place then this will certainly bring on the warning lights as the control unit will get signals from the pressure sensor and not the brake light switch at the same time. It will think this is a fault.
Try fitting it all up as it should be and trying again

Hi there,
Tele is refering to the wheel speed sensors, and the ring gear on the hubs which the sensor picks up off.

So all fitted back up correctly igition reset and light comes on still when pedal depressed?

If its not the brake light switch then it must be another sensor relating to the movement of the brake pedal, either the bas diagphram sensor or a brake pressure sensor. these are replaceable.
Only other possible fault could be the bas release switch which is built into the brake booster and that will require replacing.
Maybe worth getting a diagnostic check to pin point which is at fault.

Just had a look, there are 50 fault codes for the whole system, As Elsy Tanners they will have to be read out, It could be an erase fault code only
