BAS/esp light on ML 320-2001

I am a proud new owner of a Ml 320. 2001, I have now had the car /truck about 2.5 mths I have just last weekend changed the pads alround . BUt over the last week the BAS/ESP light on the dachboard keeps coming on, it only goes off when I turn the ignition off then stays off most of the time . er-indoors recons she can hear a rubbing sound, I can't but I am a bit mutton. are there any members out there that might have any ideas on this matter please.

Hello change the brake light switch, that sits above the brake pedal, only £10 and easy to fit

It should be the brake light switch if you have not disturbed any of the wheel speed sensors
