BAS/ESP light

The BAS?ESP light has started to show up on the warning panel of my 2000 220cdi, if I turn off and restart the light goes out with all the others but comes on again after a short while. ABS is working, any ideas from anybody please

Hi

You don't say what model you have, I assume that you have a Cclass 203 model, if so there was problem with the bas/esp system which required a loom modification ( fault code 1140 & 1142) otherwise its probably the brake light switch a quick call into your dealer should identify the problem

sounds like a wiring mod to me needed
as 2000 spec 203 dont have a brake light switch it is in the servo
