BAS/ESP warning light

Hi, I'm new to the forum. I have owned my 2000 c200 for about 18 months( great car!) and have recently had the bas/esp warning light coming on.(abs seems to work OK) Sometimes after a few miles, sometimes constantly.
After reading various posts I've replaced the brake light switch, but the problem is still the same.
Please can anyone tell me what else to look for?

The only other faults I've come across is the steering angle sensor and the BAS diaphragm pressure sensor.

Have you reset the steering angle sensor? the procedure is in the manual. Turn the steering 3 times from lock to lock or something similar. This somtimes needs doing if a new battery has been fitted.

Are all your tires at the correct pressure and are thay all at similar states of wear? The car detects when thay are nor rotating at the same speed as part of the antilock breaking and stability control system. If the readings seem out of the normal range to the car it can cause problems.

Are your front hub bearings correctly adjusted, any slack and the ABS lamp will come on intermittently.

The angle sensor on my 211 knocked out the ESP, speed limiter and cruise control but not the ABS or BAS
