BAS light on

Hi all,

I own C180, Y1998. I had my car reverse lights failed when it moved backwards. I took to the master for repair, who failed to repair the car. Moreover, after that I am having my BAS light on. What can be the reason you think? Any help highly appreciated...

P.S Master lifted the automatic gear panel from the cabin, cut off& joined some cabels...

It seems to me that your master (mechanic)? is working the chinese way, cut and join. You seem to have a reversing light switch problem. However, he has now cut and joined wires - so any amount of problems could occur//ie the BAS light coming on.

What kind of an answer can you give to this question, we know that the reverse switches are non adjustable, it may never be the same again

Huh, I got the problem solved. Now get back.... What is the reason that reverse lights are malfunctioning? I have checked all the fuses and lights

Could be item107 but without the VIN cant be exact.
