BAS Warning Light

Hello again,

just out for a spin this morning and the BAS/ESP lamp came on and a message on the dash, "Brake Assist, Visit Workshop" or something to that effect.

Car seems to brake without incident. This happened on Friday night as well.

Just bought the car from a second-hand dealer on Thursday and have a months warranty. Any advice?

From a search on here, it looks like it may be a faulty brake pedal switch? Is it worth me doing myself or do you reckon i'll get anywhere from the garage who sold the car to me?

Second that, WCM - see my post 'W202 stoplight switch reset' in electricals.
10 mins to remove drivers side under dash, 2 mins to replace switch.
