The signal from my '99 C43 key is getting very weak.

Is it easy to open the key up? If so how? (I can't see an obvious way to do this)

Are the batteries mainstream ones?

Thanks

Hi,
The slot is at the wide end of the key if you look in the slot where the key blade slides in you will see it. Hope this has been of some help.

Turns out you were correct - but I bottled it and wandered down to BSG and they did it for me.

As I have lost my other key (I blame my 3 year old.....) I didn't want to risk bu**ering this one up as well.
