Hello guys

Its a 2002 220CDi with 130k miles . I get this message just the odd time while driving . Any ideas ?

I would think that maybe it just needs a new brush reg pack circa £20 from Bosch

Thanks Malcolm . Is this a big job ? Can it be done with altenator in situ from above or below ?

Hi Malcolm , is it possible to replace brush/regulator without removing alternator ? Is it best to tackle from underneath or above . Any part numbers pictures or diagrams would be great . 2002 C220 CDi

It does depend on the access, can you get to the rear of the alternator only held on with 2 screws, an Indie could answer this better than me

Didnt have a good look yet as was hoping to buy part and replace all in one go . Anybody else have any ideas ?
