Battery disconnected

Hi all,

I was disconnected my battery of W202 and i want to know if the car can be ok after remplacment of this battery after two or 3 hours plz.

Shouldn't cause any major problems on a 202.You will have to do the obvious things like put the code into your radio,reset the clock,and the not so obvious,like re syncing your windows and sunroof(if you have one) to get the 'one touch' function to work again.Oh,and your alarm may go off,in which case,lock and unlock the car with the remote(worked on mine anyway).

Re-synching is only necassary if your car has one touch "up" one touch "down" windows, to re-synch, operate the window to its lowest position and hold switch fully down for approx 3-5 seconds, then repeat procedure for the fully up position, repeat on all 4 windows.

Well to be honest I did,nt know it had to be as I have never consciencely turned the key too pos. 2, to synch the windows, but as I normally forget too re-synch them after battery reconnection, and left to do them as i,m reversing off the driveway, I suppose mine has always been in pos. 2.

I have a bit of a weird thing on my W124 with Cobra alarm fitted the remote unlocks and opens the doors and turns off the immobilizer so you can start the car.
If you hold remote button down and "lock" with roof or windows open -it closes them.
Great !--but if they are already closed when you hold the button down -they all fully open at the same time?
