Hello guys,
I got a CLA 45 AMG from 10.2018. I'm owning the car from 2 years now without any mechanical issues.
Last year i haved it detailed, it's been in the shop for like 4-5 days, without starting or any charge of battery. Ofc with opening/closing doors, etc. When I pick it up it didn't start (logic). I have jump-start it to get it home and the next day i've changed the battery (same specs). From then till now if i don't run it for like 2-3 days the battery is draining (from 12.50v to 11.9/11.8).
I've removed the + terminal and measure the loss with an electrical measuring device.
I found out that i got one relay in the engine fuse box that is clicking (intermittent) every 40min or so, and when it does the battery voltage drops down from 12.50 to 12 for a couple of secound and when it clicks again it's raising slowly.
I don't know what that relay does.
Its the 87M Circuit Relay 50A, its the second one from top and its gray.
Got this info from: https://fuse-box.info/mercedes-benz/mercedes-benz-cla-class-c117-2014-2019-fuses-and-relay
Does anybody knows what module or electronics is this relay activating? Is draining battery big time.
Thanks for your time reading this :).

PS. I also got this fault codes on xentry (permanent) and i didn't found anything on them. "U060186" AND "U060195)
NCircuit relay87M

Put it on a long charge ideally with an charger/analyser.
If that dose not clear the fault I would buy a new battery, yours is over 5 years old.
Do the simple things first, before you go chasing a non existent fault.

He says he’s changed the battery and has identified the source of the drain. Just needs to know what that relay does.

Have you checked across the fuses to see which circuit is pulling down the power?

That should indicate what circuit is powering on and pulling the power when the car is switched off.

Found the leak guys.
The telephone in the armrest was powered on, and it seems like it doesn’t go off by itself. With the telephone on the car was pulling 0.92-0.98, after I switch it off it goes down to 0.24-0.26

That is good, it is always satisfying to find the source of a current drain. I found one in the tracker system on my 993 one time.
