Battery drain

1992 500sl the battery drains overnight and was looking for advice on where to start the search for the problem.

How accessible is the alternator rear, in your opinion..?
How are you arriving at the conclusion that the battery has drained..?

The car will will boost off in the morning (only have to put booster cables on for under 30 seconds) able to drive, and restart car. After car sits for over 4 hours the car will not restart.

Could be the battery. When was it changed..?

when i turn the car off the door buzzer still continue to buzz even after key is removed from ignition

Step 1. Use a multi meter to check for parasitic battery drain.
Step 2. Remove fuses one by one whilst checking for voltage drop on the multimeter.

Does the door buzzer stop when you close the door and lock the car..?
