No, a proven good battery shouldn't go flat over that period.
Do you have a hidden power drain? (other than the alarm). Is your glovebox light or boot light switch faulty, leaving a bulb on all the time?

I had a problem last year where my battery was low, the car was drawing 5 amps with everything off and the car locked.

It ended up being the central locking pump unit not switching off when the car was locked. Seemingly this unit primes the ECU and everything else electrical prior to starting and also shuts down everything when the car is finally locked.

Replacement was £360 from the main dealer. I had already replaced the battery prior to the diagnosis.

Hope your problem is not this one.

2002 SL500, 216 CL500, all fully loaded
My 129 would go 2 weeks and start, the 230 is much shorter.

With an ammeter you could check the drain 40ma max on a 129

My CL lasts about 2 weeks before the battery is dead, I disconnect the battery and reconnect when I want to use the car.

The 230 has a seperate starter battery in the front which should start the car if the consumer battery is flat. The 129 is far less complicated and as malcolm should last a lot longer then that.
