Battery?

I haven't been in the car for a while and the last decent run out will have been over a month ago. Over the last month it might have had the 2 trips of a mile or so.
Anyhow tomorrow we're taking the kids to Chester zoo so thought I'd give the car the once over, fluid levels, tyre pressure, wax and clean.
When I first got into the car turn the key to position one all normal then to ignition on position there was nothing at all. Tried again nothing at all, there was a couple of warning come up like esp inoperative tyre pressure inoperative then on the 3rd go it started up. Diagnostics ran with the following issues. I then cleared all codes and took the car for a 50 minute drive up the motorway came back and tried again and now there's no codes showing.
