why did George Harrison buy a used 230E that he liked so little he had it rebuilt anyway? The guy could have bought the dealership, never mind whatever merc he wanted. For that matter, why did Jeff Lynne buy a 230E when he was at the height of his fame? They were nice, but the 300E was a lot nicer. All very odd and i suspect there was a lot more to this story.... Nice car though. I wonder how much it went for.
