Hello everyone,

BenzInsider's main focus is bringing its visitors the latest and most interesting stories about the Mercedes-Benz Car Group (Mercedes, Smart and Maybach), which includes news, reviews, rumors and more.

The BenzInsider team is looking for qualified people who are able to devote some time and write for us. As this is the premiere Mercedes forum with thousands of Mercedes enthusiasts, it is the right place to search for someone who will help us update the website and write quality content. Before we get into the details, I just have to say that this position is non-paid, although you may receive a gift occasionally.

If your intention is to earn big bucks with this, then this is the wrong job for you. Similar to other hobbies or activities, the current BenzInsider writers do it because they love Mercedes-Benz and not for the financial gain.

If you are still interested in the position, then continue reading.

We would like to "hire" a couple of people, with different backgrounds and different physical locations. It would be nice to have a person on every continent, so that the site is continually updated. Here are some other requirements.

* Must be a Mercedes-Benz enthusiast
* Must be proficient in English
* Must be over 18 years old
* Must send in 2 writing samples
* Must have basic computer skills. Advanced html, css, and other languages a big plus

If this all sounds something you would like to try, then please send us an email at benzinsider [at] gmail.com

Thank you, and good luck.

Hiring or looking for volunteers?

Hi elsup

Are you looking for regular contributors? They would have to be volunteers much like the members of this forum.

Who is "BenzInsider's" intended audience?

Is it to be a web-based equivalent too the Mercedes Enthusiast (say) magazine? I had a quick look at the website.

Hello Phil,

Just like you said, it would be a volunteer position. There are currently three writers contributing (including myself). The blog is updated daily, but not all writers write something everyday, they write when they have time and when they find an interesting story. The audience is the Mercedes Benz fan and any other car enthusiast. The same people that come to this forum would probably find the blog useful as it is all about Mercedes Benz.

While the blog is gaining popularity, it is unfortunately not so popular for us to generate a lot of revenue. The money that is earned is needed for the hosting, domain and website development fees.

I hope that answers some of your questions. Thanks
