Best place for MB "B" service in/around Birmingham

Hi

I have a 15 month old A-class which has covered 20,000 miles and is coming up to its "B" service - can anyone recommend a reliable dealer (preferably franchised - if such a thing exists) in the West Midlands area?

Andy Gayle is the obvious choice in the Birmingham area, but whether his stamp in your service book will suffice for the warranty im unsure.

Virtually all the dealers in the West Midlands have good technicians, but I could not gurantee that they would work on your vehicle. Otherwise its my humble establishment.

Just noticed your posting regarding dealers in the midlands, but am confused by your comments.

Are you saying, that some MB dealers would refuse to work on a A class? (if so for what reason), or that all dealers have good technicians (and a number of bad ones) - one of which may end up working on your vehicle?

You mention reliable. I thought all MB dealers where reliable. Otherwise I think you understand my comments?!!!

Andy, they are reliable. If there's one thing you can be sure of, its that you're going to get taken for a ride.

Last MB garage I went into said I had less than a thousand miles left on my front pads. That was at 69K. Well, I'm at 81 now and the pedal is just fine with no warning light preaching impending doom. They also allegedly replaced my front anti roll bar bushes, but I've got a knock at the front (which I'll be asking you to look at, if you don't mind) and my moneys on ARB bushes that are knackered.

I'm sure there are good ones. But the one I've frequented twice right royally ripped me good and proper.
